Box Corer
Intro: Reliable corer for sampling an area of 0.1m2 of sediment with minimal disturbance and sample contamination.

The NOC Box Corer is a simple and reliable corer for sampling an area of 0.1m² of sediment with minimal disturbance and sample contamination. It's unique double shovel design allows easy access to the sediment for sub-sampling for subsequent scientific investigation.

Box corers are widely used for sampling in biological, chemical and geochemical applications as the relatively large block of sediment provides a large well preserved sample.

A Box Corers is easily deployed from a deck stand and can be lowered onto a standard lifeboat no-load release, which activates after sediment penetration. The box is closed, top and bottom, by two closely fitting shovels, mounted on pivot arms. Removable weights allow the corers to be used successfully in a range of sediment types.

Mini-Box Corer
Intro: A ¼ scale version of the Box Corer for sampling a sediment area of 0.05m2 with minimal disturbance and sample contamination.

The NOC Mini-Box Corer is a simple and reliable corer for sampling an area of 0.05m2 of sediment with minimal disturbance and sample contamination. It is a quarter scale version of the standard NOC Box Corer. This ‘mini’ version is constructed of aluminium and stainless steel to reduce its weight, thereby allowing deployment from smaller boats in the inshore environment.

The Mini-Box Corer’s unique double shovel design allows easy access to the sediment for sub-sampling for subsequent scientific investigation. They are widely used for sampling in biological, chemical and geochemical applications as the relatively large block of sediment provides a large well preserved sample.

Intro: Non-metallic, free-flushing sampler recommended for general purpose water sampling.

Non-metalic, free-flushing sampler recommended for general purpose water sampling. These samplers, manufactured by Richter and Wiese, can be individually or serially attached on a hydrocable and activated by messenger or placed in any kind of multisampling system and activated by remote or pre-programmed command.

The Standard PVC Niskin Type Sampler is made of grey PVC (RAL 7011) and features a spring closure made of latex tubing with optional stainless steel spring closure, clamp bolts for attachments on a cable and mounting blocks for Multisampling System attachment.

Delivery is made with lanyards for loading on both cable and multisampling systems. All metal parts are made out of special V4A-stainless steel.
