A YSI V-Fin (Vehicle for Instrumentation) is a stable, lightweight platform used to deploy instruments from a moving vessel. The V-Fin is durable and can be flown at a variety of depths in a water column to collect data.  Rugged fiberglass and stainless steel construction assures years of successful towing in the harsh marine environment. 

You can select a YSI V-Fin from over 20 standard models or a complete towed system can be designed to your requirement.
